Niraj Pahlajani, MD
Dr. Niraj Pahlajani is delighted to be seeing patients at the START Center for Cancer Care. He completed a residency in radiation oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is board certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology and a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO). He has experience treating cancers in all parts of the body, with experience in Gamma Knife and Varian techniques for radiosurgery.
Previous to joining START, Dr. Pahlajani was at Baylor Scott and White Health in Temple, TX, where he was Director of Quality and Director of Radiosurgery. During this time, he was also Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M College of Medicine, where he was actively engaged in teaching residents and medical students. He enjoys keeping up with the latest advancements in oncology and regularly attends national meetings.
Dr. Pahlajani strives to provide comprehensive, state of the art, evidence-based cancer care in an empathetic and compassionate way. He firmly believes in patient education to discuss the risks and benefits of radiation treatments, as well as alternatives, so that patients can make an informed decision about their health.
In his free time, Dr. Pahlajani enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and exploring the central Texas area.
