Neil Cheveli, MD

A native Texan, Dr. Neil Chevli is a radiation oncologist practicing in the San Antonio area at the START Center. He attended the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a bachelor’s degree in biology, and received his medical degree with AOA honors from the University of Texas Medical Branch. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Texas Medical Branch which included integrated rotations at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Houston Methodist Hospital. In his final year of residency, he received the Brown Award for Resident Excellence in Radiation Oncology, which recognizes one outstanding radiation oncology resident for the entire state of Texas.

 

 

Dr. Chevli sees patients at the Medical Center, North Central, Northeast, and Boerne locations. He treats all tumor types as well as certain benign conditions. All patients receive an individualized treatment plan based upon his experience with advanced radiation techniques including IMRT/VMAT, SBRT, IGRT, SRS, and GK Radiosurgery. He has published nearly 20 peer-reviewed manuscripts in prestigious medical journals and has given oral presentations at major national conferences. He is a member of the American Board of Radiology and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology. Outside of clinic, Dr. Chevli enjoys spending time with his fiancée and traveling to new countries.
