James E. Mark, MD

James E. Mark, MD is a gynecologic surgical oncologist with the START Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He then completed an internship in obstetrics and gynecology at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland; a residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, Texas; and clinical and research fellowships in gynecologic oncology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida.

Dr. Mark served as chief of gynecologic oncology and medical director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dr. Mark retired from the U.S. Army as a lieutenant colonel.
