Welcome to the START Center for Cancer Care, a state-of-the-art, integrated cancer center located in the heart of San Antonio’s medical center that combines the strengths of two of the city’s most advanced cancer practices: South Texas Oncology & Hematology (STOH) and South Texas Accelerated Research Therapeutics (START). Our mission is to provide the highest quality of care for cancer patients and to accelerate the development of new anticancer drugs with the purpose of improving quality of life and survival for patients with cancer.
