South Texas Oncology and Hematology (STOH) and South Texas Accelerated Research Therapeutics (START) joined together to create a new cancer center. The new center is named STOH at the START Center for Cancer Care. The center is located at the corner of Medical Drive and Ewing Halsell and is dedicated to treating and ultimately curing cancer. In addition to providing patients access to world-class care, the new center puts those being treated in touch with the very best investigational (drug) therapies. It is an environment where patients will have access to the very best technology and personalized patient care. Physicians have worked very closely with the architects to develop the kind of atmosphere that is most conducive to physicians caring for patients. This center was built with the patient in mind.
