Nena Mirkovic, M.D.

Dr. Nena Mirkovic holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Zagreb in Croatia. Having spent four years in basic science research, two of which were at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, she trained in Radiation Oncology at the University of Iowa in Iowa City and Loyola University Chicago. Before joining STOH, she was on staff at Loyola University Medical Center and on faculty at the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. Dr. Mirkovic’s interest is mostly in lung cancer and GI oncology. She authored and co-authored several articles and book chapters on multidisciplinary approach in non-small lung cancer. She is a member of SWOG and participates in research protocols.
