Dr. Ardow Ameduri

Ardow Ameduri, M.D.

Dr. Ardow Ameduri a member of South Texas Oncology Hematology has practiced radiation therapy since 1973. He received his M.D. from the New York Medical College, Valhalla, N.Y., and interned at the St. Luke’s Hospital in Denver, CO. He did an NCI fellowship in radiation therapy at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. and a residency in psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Ameduri is board certified in radiation therapy and treats cancers in all areas of the body with conventional or IMRT. He has participated in prostate brachytherapy (seed implants) since 1989, treated the first IMRT patient in San Antonio in 1999, and used the Mammosite® procedure for breast cancer since 2002. He is also experienced in CyberKnife stereotactic robotic radiosurgery for both CNS tumors and extracranial tumors using both CyberKnife. Dr. Ameduri also is certified to use the radionuclides Quadramet® for bone metastasis and BEXXAR® for Lymphomas.
