Access to Programs for Financial Assistance

Chemotherapy Treatment Information We have many financial counselors at The START Center who are available to inform all patients of resources available to assist them with not only co-pay and co-insurance costs, but general healthcare costs as well. Our goal is to assist each patient obtain additional funding to reduce their financial burden. A separate financial counseling appointment is scheduled with each new patient whose benefits are less than 90 percent coverage.

Prescription Refills

START Center Patient HandbookIt is very important to the physicians and staff at The START Center that you receive the best possible care. So that there is no interruption in you care, please request prescription refills when you have a three to five day supply remaining to ensure that you do not run out. For most medications, call your pharmacy and the pharmacy will call or fax the refill request to our office. For medications requiring a special prescription, please request a refill from the physician or their staff during regular office hours.
